Workshop 24, formally known as CGS Furniture, started in 2015 after Paul moved to Melbourne, Australia from London.
Paul spent almost 15 years making timber gallery furniture for high-end art galleries in London, such as Tate Modern and The Royal Academy of Arts.
Workshop 24 started from the humble beginnings of working out of Paul’s home garage where the business quickly outgrew to a 200m² facility in Clayton, to now producing furniture from our +400m² workshop in Springvale, Victoria.
At Workshop 24, we only use high quality, new and reclaimed Australian timbers, ensuring that the moisture content of the timber is optimal for furniture that will last.
We make custom, made-to-order designs for individual pieces, or complete full cafe and bars fit-outs.
All our furniture is produced in our workshop with a team who are passionate about what they do and take pride in making beautiful pieces of furniture.
The best part of custom designed furniture is that you can get to select each piece of timber and material. During the design stage, you can work with Workshop 24 to take your ideas and turn them into a reality of a long-lasting piece of furniture, from the type of timber and how it’s placed, to the steelwork, colour and finish.
There are no limits to what we can make at Workshop 24.
